On Tuesday, July 9, the forum “Electric Mobility and #ClimateChange: a look from the legislation” was held in the Chamber of Deputies. The event was held within the framework of the work to update the General Law on Climate Change. We appreciate the invitation of the Dip. Esther Martínez Romano, Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources Commission, and of the Environmental Politics and Legislation organization @POLEA
During the inauguration ceremony, we had the distinguished participation of Dip. Magdalena Núñez Monreal, Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources Commission, Diana Guzmán, Director of Climate Change Mitigation Policies of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT), Fabiola Ramírez, Head of the Office of the General Coordination of Climate Change Mitigation of the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC), Ernesto Carmona, General Coordinator of Adaptation to Climate Change of the INECC, Walter Julián Ángel Jiménez, Commissioner of the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), Andrés Ávila Akerberg, Director Executive of POLEA, and Diana Ávalos, General Director of AMIVE.
The forum brought together experts from the public and private sectors who addressed proposals, challenges and opportunities for electric mobility in Mexico. We appreciate the participation and commitment of our members @Mobility ADO, @Fronius Mexico and @GreenRocket for their enriching interventions based on the Mexican market.
We hope to continue working together with the Chamber of Deputies and the Government of Mexico to promote legislation and public policies that promote more sustainable, accessible and efficient electric mobility for Mexicans.
