Within the framework of LATAM Mobility Mexico City 2024, we celebrate the first anniversary of AMIVE and present our annual activity report. We have the company of affiliates, advisors and colleagues.
In just 12 months, we have 32 associates who are leaders in promoting #electromobility and #sustainability in Mexico and Latin America, covering the automotive, energy, technology and electronics sectors. Likewise, our affiliates offer consulting, financial, transportation, automation and logistics services. This diversity proves that we have the tools to cover every aspect of the sector at a national and international level.
We have 12 agreements with national and international associations committed to promoting electric mobility with the aim of creating alliances to strengthen the implementation of electric mobility projects in the country.
We participated in +30 forums on #sustainablemobility at national and international level and we generated approaches with the teams of the candidates for the Presidency, to position the issue of #electricmobility on their agendas. We maintained a constant dialogue with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT), the National Center for Energy Control (CENACE), the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), the Ministry of Economy, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and the Fire Department of Mexico City.
We organized the forum “Electric mobility and climate change: a look from the legislation” in the Chamber of Deputies and strengthened the dialogue with the legislative branch.
We organized the first edition of the “Mexico EV Day: Financing for Electric Mobility in Mexico” which had more than 250 attendees, 140 participating companies, 20 experts and five panels that fostered a dialogue between the financial sector and the electric mobility subsectors to promote the electrification of transportation in Mexico.
We have been active participants in the regulation and standardization processes for the national electric mobility sector by being part of the working groups for the drafting of regulations convened by the Energy Regulatory Commission.
After a year of consolidation, we will seek to continue building a broad and heterogeneous dialogue to promote the electrification of transportation in Mexico, generating value for our partners while continuing to collaborate with the authorities of the Government of Mexico in the development of standards, regulations and policies to promote electric mobility in a fair and orderly manner in our country.
